Wuhan is the capital of the Hubei province with a 5000-year or longer history. Wuchang, Hanyang, and Hankou were combined to form a city called Wuhan in 1926. Two big rivers, Changjian and Hanjiang, divide the city into the three districts. Hanjiang (or the Han river) joins the Chang river here. The daughter and son of the ten-year friend helped me see the city.
In the morning, 8/12/2010, we visited Yellow Crane Tower in the Wuchang district:
The Yellow Crane tower in the above photo is the structure that was repaired in the 1980's.
It was frequently rebuilt after destructed in wars in the past several thousand years.
Seeing Changjian (or the Yangtze river) from the top flor of Yellow Crane Tower:
A long shallow ship is seen carrying something like soil. The tall buildings belong to Hnyang.
..Many bridges cross Changjian. The following picture shows a tunnel below the river:

...The abobe photo was taken from the taxi. Naturally, there are many taxis.
..The tall buildings are seen over Changjian:

...A man is swimming near the white fence. A sightseeing ship is also seen.

...Waving our hands later, we parted.

...A sightseeing ship station is seen in a distance:
Afterwards, the daughter took the son and me to a Chinese restayrant near her corporation, where we talked pleasantly. Their parents live in Xiangfan, nearly 300 km away northwest from Wuhan. The son and I rode a two-story train that was to leave Wuhan at 15:15 for Xiangfan.
The lower ticket was for the night train that was to return from Xiangfan two days later. One Chinese yuan = 12.5 Japanese yen.
The tow-story train:
The capacity of a car was 178 passengers. The son is seeing outwards.
Farmland everywhere between Wuhan and Xiangfan. Cows or bulls were eating grass:
New buildings and old houses are seen beyond the river bank. The abobe and following photos were taken through the train window.
White birds (probably, snowy herons) were frequently seen near the cows or bulls (left photo). A person was photographed swimming in a small river (right photo).
White birds were again seen in the following photo.
The following photo shows a black bird on the back of a bull:
